COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions - Updated: October 2020
As more information is available to us, this resource page will continue to be monitored and updated with the latest facts. You can also find more specific information on our COVID-19 Resources page.
Q: Is Arrowhead Capital Mortgage open during this pandemic?A: Absolutely! We are making sure to take the necessary precautions at our offices and with our staff. We are maintaining social distancing measures and we are able to accommodate visitors to our office for in-person document drop off or consultation. We are also making sure to maintain mask-wearing guidelines as well as guidelines from the state that allow us to continue to do business with you.
Q: Would this be a good time to purchase or refinance a home?A: While every financial situation is different, we believe that this is the most unprecedented time for potential buyers to look into purchasing a home. For those who already own a home, refinancing is an excellent option as rates are at an all time low. Even we were surprised at the numbers! We have the tools to help you get into your next home, but we also have the experience and foresight to make sure you are making the best decision for you and your family.
Q: How can I apply right now?A: We have many ways you can apply or get in touch with us if you have any questions. Our online form is a great way to get us all your basic information and we are able to look over where you are at and give you a call to go further into detail. A lot of our process is paperless so we can provide you with secure applications and e-signing portals to help upload documents and sign others as needed. If you would like to come in and speak with us, we welcome that as well (just be sure not to forget your mask!). If you are not working with one of our staff on your mortgage needs,

Q: I am going through a financial hardship due to this pandemic, is there anyone I can talk to about my mortgage payments?
A: Give us a call at 909-335-0430 and we will direct you to one of our experienced loan officers to review your personal finances and situation. They will provide you with the realistic options and will do everything they can to assist you in how to navigate through these unprecedented times. We are here to help you make the best and calculated decisions when it comes to your mortgage payments.
Q: What is forbearance and how do I get through that process?
A: Forbearance is a process where you temporary pause your payments to your mortgage servicer. We highly recommend calling one of our loan officers to help guide you through the benefits and also the potential risks you take on with this process. Some forbearance processes allow for repayment plans but traditionally, a forbearance requires the missed payments to be paid into one lump sum on top of the current month you owe. Give us a call at 909-335-0430 to talk over these scenarios and we will do everything we can to help you.
Q: Is Arrowhead Capital abiding by the temporary ban on foreclosures and evictions?
A: We are making sure we abide by all the rules and regulations concerning the temporary bans on evictions and foreclosures. We highly recommend that if you are considering forbearance plans to give us a call to see if that it is the most necessary option for you.
Q: I was/I currently am in a forbearance plan and would like to purchase a new home or refinance. What can I do?
A: Applying for a refinance or buying a new home purchase may vary depending on your situation. However, if you have requested forbearance and have continued to make payments or made one lump sum payment to make sure everything is current once forbearance ended, you can apply for a home loan.
Homeowners who entered a loss mitigation solution (repayment plan, payment deferral or loan modifications) are eligible for a new home loan as well after three payments.
If you have any other questions, concerns or would like to leave a comment or review (if we did a good job), please give us a call at 909-335-0430.
